Nova Forrester (Yuki Mori) is the radar operator of the Argo. She is also the nurse in the original series. During her first mission, she falls in love with Derek Wildstar. In 2199, she is closely associated with, and looks like, Iscandarian princess Astra Iscandar.
In the original series, she is voiced by Yoko Asagami in the Japanese, Marcy Goldman in the 1977 movie dub, Amy Howard Wilson in the first two seasons of Star Blazers, and Corinne Orr in Bolar Wars. In 2199, she is voiced by Houko Kuwashima in the original, and Mallorie Rodak in the dub. In the 2010 movie, she is played by Meisa Kuroki.

In the original series, Nova started off as Dr. Sane's nurse. In 2199, that role was given to Makoto Harada.
