Shou Yamazaki is the 2nd chief Engineer on board Argo since 2203. He is also a member of the Star Force in 2191. He was assigned in the EDS Murasame along with Commander Philp Venture during the first encounter with the Gamilon Fleet in a peaceful way, only for Kotetsu Stone to order the fleet to open fire. Captain Abraham Avatar refused the order only been relieved by Stone. As he orders Philp Venture to open fire on the Gamilon Fleet, the first shot as the weapons from EDS Murasame are useless against the Gamilon Fleet. The Gamilons Returned fire causing the Murasame been destroyed along with other UNCF ships. Only he is the last survivor on the incident that he was on a gag order to cover-up the incident.
